Kelly McDonnell
Founder + Therapist / MA, MBA, RSW, RPshe/her/hersWhile I am not currently taking new clients, you are in the right place. Bliss is home to a team of therapists I have personally chosen for their skill, warmth, and integrity. I trust them completely, and we would be honoured to help you find the right fit.
Therapy for the soulfully ambitious. Rooted in warmth, clarity, and lived experience.
You are strong, capable, the one people lean on. Yet beneath the surface, it can feel different. The pressure, the losses, the betrayals, the quiet question of “Is this all there is?” can be exhausting. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. I see you.
I have spent over 15 years helping people through life’s turning points: heartbreak, burnout, career changes, parenthood, the search for intimacy and desire, better sex, or those long-awaited breakthrough moments. These seasons can shake us, but they also invite us back to ourselves. My work is to walk alongside you, unravel the noise, and help you settle into a life that feels grounded, honest, and unmistakably your own, the kind where you can breathe deeper, laugh louder, and honour the parts of yourself you once hid.
Therapy with me is a co-creation. You bring your story, your resilience, and your longing, I bring presence, perspective, and a space big enough for all of it. Together, something shifts. Healing is not only about loosening the armour that once kept you safe, it is about expanding into who you are becoming: clearer, braver, more connected, and more fully alive in love, in work, and in yourself.
At Bliss, my vision is simple: a radically inclusive space where no one has to shrink who they are in order to heal, and expand into the fullest version of themselves. All identities, bodies, relationships, and lived experiences are welcome here. Real change does not only help you survive, it helps you live fully.

- You and your partner(s) are navigating sexual desire differences or emotional distance, and you want to find your way back to connection.
- You long to feel more alive, more connected, and more at home in your own skin.

Every day, I am in awe of the resilience of the human spirit, the way we break, heal, and become. The way relationships, both with ourselves and with others, can wound us, and also bring us back to life. I know this not just as a therapist, but as someone who has lived it too.
My path to therapy began with a deep curiosity about connection, how we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to the systems we move through. That curiosity carried me from studying Psychology and Sociology to completing a Master’s in Forensic Sexology in Australia. Later, I earned an MBA in Health Care Administration and a Black Belt in Lean Process Improvement because I believe healing should be accessible, designed with clarity and care rather than complication.
Bliss Counselling + Psychotherapy has always been a team practice, united by a progressive ethos: therapy that is modern, relational, inclusive, and designed for real life. Today, I focus on shaping Bliss’s next chapter, mentoring clinicians, leading creative initiatives, and developing programs and spaces that support meaningful transformation across personal, relational, and community levels.
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW), Registered Psychotherapist (RP), and proud member of AASECT. More than any credential, I am endlessly curious about people, partnerships, and the process of becoming. Whether I am with a client, designing a healing experience, or creating space for connection, my work is guided by care, courage, and humanity.
At my core, I am a compassionate witness, a partner in healing, and a mirror. I am here to help you make sense of your story, return to your true self, and create relationships where you can feel safe, seen, and deeply connected.
Many Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and extended health care plans will cover services rendered by a Registered Social Worker and/or Registered Psychotherapist.
